To see yourself through the way the Gautama became the Buddha, you have to see the path that was shown by the Buddha through his teachings. The Buddha said “You are your own master”, but to become your own master you do not need to be Buddhist. You can practice the way that helps you know yourself and the purpose of life. When you see yourself clearly, you will discover that the world is not so complicated.
