An afternoon of Guided Mindfulness & Meditation

You’re warmly invited to a relaxed and supportive afternoon of guided mindfulness and meditation with simple practices you can take into everyday life.

Guided by Andrea Colley, the afternoon offers a gentle and supportive space to explore meditation practices inspired by the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, as taught by the Buddha. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or have been practising for a while, you’re very welcome to join us.

What to expect from the afternoon: Three 45-minute guided sessions Join for the full afternoon, or attend one or two sessions Cushions and chairs provided—sit on the floor or in a chair Light refreshments will be available A chance to slow down, reconnect, and settle in a welcoming, safe space

About the facilitator: Andrea Colley has been exploring mindfulness and meditation to bring greater calm, clarity, and compassion into daily life. Inspired by the teachings of the Buddha, she shares simple, practical approaches that make mindfulness accessible to everyone. For the past four years, Andrea has been guiding sessions at the Nelson Buddhist Centre, creating a warm, supportive, and relaxed space for people to practise together.
