Weekly, each Wednesday
From 6:45 p.m. until 8:15 p.m.
Buddhist teachings can be a great help with all kinds of issues. The Buddhist view can cast new light on situations that might intrigue or trouble us.
Every Wednesday throughout the year, following the 6 pm. meditation session there is the opportunity to explore any questions you may have. Buddhism is about the realities of living so anything can be the subject of investigation - understanding Buddhist philosophy, understanding your emotional world, or any current challenges you may be facing. If you don't have any questions you are welcome to join and benefit from the questions and sharing of others.
Buddhism is an extremely practical philosophy. These evenings are designed to help solve real-world, modern-day problems, so that we may reduce our suffering, and benefit from a better experience of life.
You are also invited to join us from 6 - 6.40 pm for a silent meditation session (optional).
NB: There are no rituals, teachings are non-religious and people of all faiths are welcome.
ALSO: Every month there will be a talk on a specific subject. These talks will be announced separately.
About Keith Rowan:
Keith has, since 1973, travelled 5 continents studying Buddhist thought and practice. He has been privileged to have had instruction and direct guidance from many great Buddhist teachers particularly his main teachers Namgyal Rinpoche and Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche. He has been sharing the Dharma and facilitating retreats for over 20 years in several countries. Keith's real skill though is taking the core essence of Buddhism and making it accessible to the western mind and practical for ordinary people.
