Mindfulness is far more than a stress reduction technique. It is a way of wisdom that reveals every moment of experience as an immeasurably vast and deep intimate exchange with a living world. With an appreciation for the interbeing nature of all experience, we feel the deep stirring of bodhicitta - a naturally evolving disposition for cultivating, both in ourselves and others, the magnificent human potential for panoramic, multi-realmed awareness and ceaseless compassion and love.
Tarchin is a highly respected teacher and practitioner of Contemplative Science and Natural Awakening. He has taught in many countries and helped establish a number of centres for retreat and healing. In the 1970s, as a young monk, he was introduced by his teacher Namgyal Rinpoche to many schools and practices of Buddhadharma. Today his work, while rooted in Buddhist principles, links personal and communal healing with a deep ecological perspective in ways that inspire a wide range of people from a variety of diverse backgrounds and traditions.
